ENGR. REGINALD EKENE OGU

Reginald Ekene Ogu holds B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. 

He is a Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria.  His research interests are in the areas of Embedded Systems, Wireless Networks, IoT, Cloud Computing, Web Development, Artificial Intelligence and Renewable Energy Utilization. He coordinates the activities of the award winning IoT-Edge Computing Research Group of his department. Many awards are attributable to him.  

His primary programming languages are C++ and Python. He develops and manages web applications as a hobby. As an advocate of Re-engineering, he is tech savvy in the applicability and effective utilization of ICT tools for improved productivity. 

Engr. Ogu is a registered Engineer in Nigeria. Also, he is an active volunteer of the IEEE. Currently, he is the webmaster for IEEE Nigeria Section and Africa Council.
